There comes a time in a life of a developer where their work is done and they move on to new adventures. This is the normal way things go and we treat this with honesty.

Our Promise

We are proud about how much you have grown and the person you have become. We are excited to see where your journey will take you.

We hope we could help you achieve your goals and to take your next step in life. But our work is not done yet. As a parting gift we offer to not only serve as a future reference but to actively recommend you for a new position.

Exit Interview

Before you leave we should reflect on the time you spend here and dwell in the past for a moment. Consider it the last investment into your and our future as self awareness is a powerful tool. Nothing nurtures awareness more than good feedback.

Good feedback doesn’t always have to be nice. It is kind and honest. Do not hold back information to spare someone’s feelings. Kind feedback means to be honest and give someone a chance to truly grow.

thermondo Alumni

An employment is not a marriage, leaving it is not a divorce. Which is why we believe that healthy work alliance can exceed the boundaries of an employment. This is why we welcome you to join our thermondo alumni network.

We build up a lot of trust as a team. The alumni network is our way to utilize that trust after your employment ends. You need a reference, a recommendation or need trusted advice? Just ask the people you already know and trust.

Furthermore we will make sure to invite you to social gatherings and to keep you updated about important information about our climate mission at thermondo.

Checklist

Before you go…

• Please ensure your key is returned and the return signed for.
• Please return all devices to IT and make sure they confirm that you returned everything.
• Please make sure you pushed all your work, and then deleted thermondo data from your devices. Especially any customer data.
  • Database & database dumps
  • Passwords
  • Virtual environments, etc.
  • Environment variables with secrets
  • Git repositories
  • Anything else!
• Sign out of your accounts.
• Please set an appropriate out of office reply for your thermondo email.
• Please ensure that you passed on your knowledge – write it down into docs, issues, etc. and share.
• Please ensure tickets and Pull-Requests are handed over and assigned to somebody else.
• Please empty your box and remove your name tag.
• Say goodbye, and come back to visit!
